Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how RED RUSH (“we”, “us”, or “the App”) handles information when you use the RED RUSH mobile game on iOS or Android. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
1. Who we are
RED RUSH is a casual arcade game. For privacy questions, contact us at [email protected].
2. Information we store on your device
The App stores limited gameplay and preference data locally on your device (for example via on-device preferences), which may include:
- Best score and related progress
- Settings such as sound, music, and vibration preferences
- Your chosen display name (for leaderboards)
- Cached leaderboard snapshots to improve performance offline
This local data stays on your device unless you clear app data or uninstall the App.
3. Online features (leaderboard & anonymous account)
When online features are available, RED RUSH may use Supabase to support leaderboards. In that case we may process:
- An anonymous account identifier created by our authentication provider (no email or password is required to play)
- Your display name
- Game scores and related submission metadata needed to rank plays
We do not require you to create a traditional account with a name, email, or password to use core gameplay.
4. Advertising
The App may show ads through Google AdMob. In the current version, ads are requested as non-personalized ads. We do not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission or use the advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalized tracking in this version.
Google and its partners may collect and process certain device and usage information as described in their own policies, including Google’s Privacy Policy and AdMob documentation. Ad delivery may still rely on contextual or non-personalized signals permitted by the ad platform and applicable law.
5. Information we do not intentionally collect
We do not intentionally collect:
- Your name, email, or phone number for an account profile
- Precise location for gameplay
- Dedicated analytics or crash-reporting SDKs beyond what is listed above (as of the date of this Policy)
6. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Operate gameplay, settings, and progress on your device
- Provide and display leaderboards
- Show non-personalized advertising to support the App
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability
7. Sharing
We share information only as needed with service providers that power the App (for example Supabase for backend/leaderboard services and Google for advertising), or when required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
8. Data retention
Local data remains until you clear it or uninstall the App. Leaderboard and anonymous account data may be retained for as long as needed to operate rankings and prevent abuse, or until you request deletion where applicable.
9. Children’s privacy
RED RUSH is a general-audience casual game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner that would require parental consent under applicable children’s privacy laws. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact [email protected] and we will take appropriate steps.
10. Your choices
- You can change or clear local data by resetting the App or uninstalling it.
- You can limit ads through your device’s advertising or privacy settings where available.
- You may contact us to ask about access, correction, or deletion of leaderboard-related data we control, subject to technical and legal limits.
11. International processing
Our service providers may process data in countries other than where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
